"waiting times carpal tunnel"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Physiotherapy Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Rheumatology ( Wards 6a & 6b)

(as the patient),

Saw OT 8 weeks ago - Catherine was lovely, put me at ease throughout the initial tests and referred me to Mr Thomas consultant and for nerve conduction test in Glasgow.

Constant pain even using pain meds and splinting almost all of the time!

No sign of an appointment from either department!

What is the current waiting times please?

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear marie66,

I have managed to establish that the current waiting time for this test is about 12 weeks for a routine referral and about 6 weeks for an urgent referral. If you want to call
0141 201 2523, they will be happy to find out where you currently are on the waiting list. I hope you get it all sorted soon,

Best wishes,

Eunice
