This was my first visit to this hospital and was sent from university hospital for a MRI. The difference in the two hospitals is unbelievable. I did not feel the the staff at county hospital were competent of answering my concerns and I was not given any information as to what to expect when going through the scanner. Therefore I was not sure what was supposed to be 'normal' or not!. The fact that I was told by university hospital that I would need an eye X-ray first because of my job and then to be told different when I got to county did not put my mind at ease at all. In my opinion the staff should be there to be able to do their job but also to ensure the patient feels that they are in safe hands and know that they are getting the best care. My suggestion would be to ensure that the whole process is talked through with the patient so that their concerns are answered and not to be left in the dark wondering what is about to happen. Thankyou
