"Ward C25 at EENT"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

Yesterday, I spent 12 hours at the QMC after my wife took me to A&E as I had swallowed a bone at a restaurant the night before that I thought had become lodged in my throat and was in a lot of pain and was unable to swallow. I was seen swiftly, sent to X-Ray and then to EENT. They duly decided to admit me and operate. The service I got from everyone during this time from the moment I walked in the door tov the moment I left (thankfully I did not have t stay in overnight) was nothing short of first class. The nurses, doctors and support staff on Ward C25 were knowledgeable, friendly, polite, kept me informed and regularly updated of everything that was happening.

Thank you to the staff at the QMC that I saw yesterday, you were all fantastic. Martin Naylor, feeling a little sore but on the mend, West Bridgford, Nottingham.

Dear Martin. Blimey – this must have been a frightening experience for you. I’m pleased the team in our Emergency Department and on Ward C25 looked after you well.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.
