"Carers are happy to change activities to suit what we want to do"

I really love coming to the day centre. The girls are that nice, they would do anything for you. I look forward to coming. I’ve never had to complain because everything is good

I wouldn’t change anything, there are plenty of things to do and the day flies by.

I’ve liked coming here from the first day 7 years ago. I’ve got to be really ill to stop me from coming. It takes me out of the house. The only other time I’m out is if my son takes me somewhere in my wheelchair.

The meals are lovely too, in fact sometimes you get too much food.

The carers are happy to change around activities depending on what people want to do that day. They also help with filling out forms if you’re confused.

They read the morning paper out – this keeps us up to date.

It took a while to get used to the new building but I like it now. You choose what room to go in to and there are different activities in each room.

I don’t know what I’d do without the day centre, it would be a long week for me.
