"major trauma unit"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

The care and level of compassion given to my dad who was admitted to this hospital after a pretty horrific fall down the stairs whilst at home was impeccable. All the staff were fantastic. They made themselves known to u and they actually came to you to with any updates rather than you having to search for them. Even the doctors. They continually asked my dad if he was ok and very often when we entered the ward a nurse would be sitting with him chatting to him, which was a massive comfort to us as we had to travel from coalville every day. Couldn't of asked for more. Thankyou all .

Thanks so much.

I am pleased to hear of your father’s excellent care on our major trauma unit. We are grateful that you have taken the time to share details of his (and your) experience.

I’ve shared your lovely message with the team. Sending my best wishes to you and your father, Laura Griffiths, Interim Divisional Nurse, Surgery
