What I liked
I was admitted to JCUH to have an endoscopy and on another occassion a colonoscopy to check for Crohns Disease as i was already diagnosed with severe anemia. On both occassions I found the staff to be very pleasant and informative. I was treated with respect and dignity during my short time in the hospital, which was a great help as I was nervous about having a colonoscopy which involves an area not usually seen by people. My treatments were both painless and i felt absolutely fine afterwards when the anaesthetic had worn off. Thankfully, i was told I didnt have Crohn's disease which was a huge relief.
What could be improved
I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who was working on the endoscopy ward on both days! You were a great help, and I would reassure anyone going for an endoscopy/colonoscopy that you will be completely cared for and respected.
