About: Royal Derby Hospital

Went to visit my Aunty, who as lung cancer, and is in for 12 days.

Drove round for at least half an hour. Looking for a car park space. Couldn't find one. Came home. This is not the first time i have had problems parking. And for what they charge, you would think they would build a multi storey car park. There as been this problem since it opened. When will it be adressed.

Thank you for comments regarding the car parking difficulties you have experienced recently when attending the Royal Derby Hospital.

A space count of each car park is carried out hourly, this enables car parking staff to direct visitors and patients to available spaces when they are visiting the hospital.

During our busiest times Car parking staff will endeavour to keep the traffic moving around the hospital site to ensure congestion is kept to a minimum.

Car parking staff patrol car parks regularly throughout the day to ensure that any misuse of our car parks and spaces are dealt with in a professional manner.

Persistent offenders are issued with a Parking Breach Notice.

We endeavour to provide safe car parking spaces 24 hours a day, however at times, the demand outweighs availability and spaces unfortunately cannot always guaranteed.

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused. I would like to assure you that the car parking team will continue to deliver as a high service as we possibly can.
