"High quality staff and excellent level of care."

About: Clatterbridge Hospital

I was admitted as a day case on ward M2 yesterday and was overwhelmed by the excellent standard of care I received.

The nurses were so kind, caring and informative and HCA's alike. They answered all my questions, made me smile and I felt genuinely cared for.

The theatre team put me at ease and I felt I was in very safe hands. The anaesthetist was also informative with excellent communication, I understood exactly what was going to happen.

In recovery I was reassured and they promptly gave me anti-sickness medication when asked how I felt. There was always somebody by my side as I came round from the anaesthetic.

The porter was cheery and patient waiting for me to prepare to go down for the operation.

Domestic staff were pleasant and the ward was very clean.

Last but by no means least, I an incredibly pleased with the outcome of my surgery. The surgeon has done a top class job. I have minor swelling and bruising and am in very little pain. The surgeon came to see me prior to the op and their bedside manner was impeccable.

Overall, I am highly impressed with the quality of care and service I received on ward M2. I have nothing but praise for all the staff who contributed to my experience.

THANK YOU xx

Thank you very much for your kind comments. We are delighted to read your comments about how staff from start-to-finish were able to care for you so well. We are proud of the care and service provided by our staff.

Our staff work hard to try to ensure that a patient’s experience whilst at the hospital is as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and they are always considerably heartened and motivated on learning how much their efforts have been appreciated.
