"No liaison between MSK Clinic and Wycombe Hospital"

About: Wycombe Hospital

After suffering a wrist injury I was referred to the MSK clinic at the end of Sept and given an appointment for the 22nd Sept.Subsequently an X-ray revealed a broken bone so the MSK appointment was cancelled and a referral letter(e-mail) allegedly sent to Wycombe hospital on 29th Sept. I phoned on the 9th Oct and 19th Oct as Wycombe claim to have no record of the referral. As the pain has increased I have been prescribed painkillers and will have to sufer unnecessary delays and not being able to work.

Thank you for your comments. I am sorry to read of the difficulties you have been experiencing regarding a referral by the MSK clinic to Wycombe Hospital.

May I direct you to call Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS )on 01296 316042 or 01494 425882 for assistance with your concern.
