The nhs is understaffed and the the doctors and nurses generally do their best within the framework given. Waited in a and e for 7.5 hours. My mum was finally admitted to a ward the next morning after a night in a side room in a and e.
The doctors are good and seem organised and thorough and the nurses vary with each shift. Some were helpful others were pretty rude. They basically do their best but don't have the money or manpower to cope. People have suggested that you go elsehwere - I'd like to know how you do that when you're in an emergency ambulance!! "Excuse me driver! I'd like to be taken to John Radcliffe!" Good luck with that! My message would be don't allow them to ignore you and don't be fobbed off.
"Too busy"
