About: New Woods Children's Centre

(as the patient),

Had a lovely time working as a volunteer for sure start all staff was lovely to work for and built up my confidence and self esteem. Louise and Sara was fab help me a lot with my family life and supported me at hard times will miss all the sure start worker, I started as a parent s group and moved in to doing groups under ones, messy play, open house and more groups met some lovely mums and dad and baby's will miss them lots. I think the awards nights for volunteers and their families were brill, they made me feel worth while and appreciated. I have now got myself a part time job so I have left volunteering, thanks for everything I will be back!

Thank you so much for sharing your journey and explaining how supportive you have felt your volunteering opportunity has been. It is wonderful to hear you have a new job and I really hope you enjoy this new chapter in your life. I will ensure the staff get to see the lovely comments you have made, they all do work really hard to ensure our services are the very best they can be. Without the fantastic work of our volunteers we could not do all we do for local families, so thank you for being part of this and supporting us so well. We love running the volunteer event nights, it's a real opportunity for us to say thank you and recognise the great work of all our volunteers, thank s again for the comments.
