"Admitted for laparoscopy"

About: Comm Hosp Wards (Evesham)

I went into Evesham yesterday Burlingham ward to have a laparoscopy done, I was petrified and honestly didn't think I would go through with it. On walking in the nurse greeted me and showed me my bed. They were amazing comforted me and didn't leave my side. The knee anaesthetist came to talk to me and I told how nervous I was and she reassured me that it would all be ok. Luckily I didn't have anytime to feel anymore nervous as I was first into theatre :) one of the care staff walked me down and stayed with me another member of staff held my hand whilst and the next think I know I was awake. I can't thank all the staff enough they were amazing and really take time to look after there patients.

Would highly recommend anyone having an operation done to ask for Evesham.
