"A nasty scare made easy"

About: The Maidstone Hospital

Being diagnosed with breast cancer gave me quite a scare, but all the staff from beginning to end of the treatment have been absolutely wonderful.

Starting in the Peggy Wood Breast Cancer centre I was given the verdict with professionalism and empathy and at each stage was told what the treatment would be and asked if I was happy to go ahead.

I was also asked if I had any questions and given lots of information, so felt in complete control.

A big thank you to all the lovely staff at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells.

I have just finished 15 days of radiotherapy and feel I am now on the exit road to complete recovery,

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your experience of Maidstone Hospital.

We appreciate how difficult a diagnosis of cancer is for patients and we were very pleased to learn that you felt well supported throughout your treatment.

Please be assured that we have passed your thanks on to the Breast Care team.

Kind regards, The PALS Team.
