Some people have obviously had a very positive experience at this pain clinic, hence their 5 star ratings.

This unfortunately, has not been my experience, whilst the Nursing and Admin staff have been great and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, the same cannot be said for my particular Consultant, who proved to be rude, condescending, arrogant and at times unprofessional in their behaviour. I don't appreciate sitting in their office on my appointment, watching them take personal family phone calls, while I wait like Mr Invisible for the consultant to finish, something that happened on more than one occasion.

It came as little surprise to find that they'd written incorrect information in my medical records, given that they have an inability to listen to patients, but rather constantly makes assumptions, often completely unfounded, so no surprise that my records are incorrect.

With regards to treatment, well what can I say, no joy there either, the consultant arranged a particular procedure and on the day of said treatment, for reasons best known to themself, they changed it to injections, which proved wholly unsuccessful and made things even worse than before.

So for those of you who venture into the world of the Pain Clinic/Management, good luck!, you'll need it.
