After a weekend of being unwell I rang for help at 111 and the out of hours doctor was very good at first and said he would get me the help I so desperately needed. He said he would ring back after calling the mental health team at Musgrove Park Hospital. He then left me a message on my phone. My understanding of the message was that-Mental Health said I wasn't ill and said if I felt suicidal to go and kill myself, that it was my choice.

Who really wants to feel like this is a choice. It just shows how bad things have got when someone in the caring profession goes and tells you to die.

Not sure if it's down to being understaffed or lack of cash or both but it's sad and scary when you find yourself in a dire situation like this. I'm glad I made it to Monday when I was able to see my GP but feel really lucky after being resuscitated that I am alive and still here by luck.

I have already been in contact with PALS about similar treatment in the past but nobody wants to know.

Thanks for so much concern but I feel it all falls on deaf ears in reality and doesn't get the attention it deserves for such a serious situation.

Been in touch with the PALS services and they say they say there is no evidence recorded I had been unwell this weekend so they could not look into it further.

As I mentioned I spoke with PALS service at the above number.

I have concluded the Trust do not seem to want to use service users feedback to provide a better service. I feel they have denied my complaint instead of using valuable feedback to gain improvements in bettering services for people in this area.
