"Professionalism and kindness were very evident"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Cardiology

(as a relative),

A family member was taken by ambulance to A and E and later admitted and released to come back for a 24 hour monitor. This duly happened and activity whilst on the monitor resulted in a second ambulance and the early fitting of a pacemaker, time in the Angio Unit and CCU.

The treatment received was of a high order and every member of staff no matter what their role was, treated the patient with respect and care giving her confidence in her treatment. Professionalism and kindness were very evident.

Dear Ferris,

Thank you very much for your kind comments, I am glad that we lived up to your expectations and that you were treated with kindness and respect.

I will share this with the teams in the Emergency Department, Angio Suite and Coronary Care.

Best wishes for your recovery from this procedure

Nicola Shopland

Divisional Chief Nurse - Medicine
