"Bone infection"

About: Witney Community Hospital

On Sunday my daughter tried to get help at MIU but none was offered. Went yesterday at 9.20, 2 people waiting my daughter was in setious pain, she has heart and lung disease but her elbow was causing much pain, unable to move it, swollen feelingless fingers. Despite signs saying if lots of pain to tell the staff and after telling them several times, we were kept waiting 6 hours. Finallyban ambulance was called as she has a bone infection and she is now in the Nuffield. No one seemed bothered or willing to help.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment and we are sorry to hear you are unhappy with the services your daughter received from Witney Minor Injuries Unit.

We take all feedback about our services seriously and I would be grateful if you could contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS@oxfordhealth.nhs.uk or 0800 328 7971) so that we can work with you to ensure we learn from your daughters experience to improve the service provided.
