"Colonoscopy in Endoscopy unit"

I am leaving a very strong five star review today. I went in this evening for my first ever colonoscopy. I am usually an anxious person anyway, so the prospect of having this procedure done made me extremely nervous. However, from the moment the first of the nurses spoke to me in the waiting room, I immediately felt cared for, and reassured. Every single nurse and the consultant that I spoke to was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and well-trained.

They were understanding, and throughout the entire procedure, clearly had my comfort, health and wellbeing as a top priority. I was the last person to go in for a colonoscopy today, and I was treated with the exact same kindness and patience as if I were the very first. The fantastic staff in this department made an unpleasant procedure as comfortable and relaxing as it could have been in absolutely every single step; from walking in the door until the moment I left. Doncaster royal infirmary ought to be proud of it's incredible endoscopy department & staff, thank you VERY much for a first-rate level of care!
