"A visit to a & e"

My son had hurt his foot and was in pain and could not use it. I parked close to A & E but had to carry my son ( who was quite heavy for me ) to the building; but a staff member had spotted me struggling and came to my aid with a wheel chair for which I was very grateful. At reception were seen immediately. I expected a long wait but was promptly called through for his assessment, he was given pain relief and made to feel as ease by a lovely lady. Back to the waiting room the, but again we were called back to see the dr promptly. The Drs friendliness and professionalism was lovely to see, my son felt comfortable around him; and after an x Ray ( which again was done straight away and by very friendly helpful staff ) the dr decided no bones broke; great news! Our experience of this visit far exceeded my expectations and I feel grateful to the wonderful staff of Nevil Hall hospital for this; a positive experience for my son who was nervous and in pain but who felt well taken care of by the people who dealt with him. Thank you.
