"Care at Aintree University Medical Ward 11"

About: University Hospital Aintree

I came to visit a relative on Ward 11 and, from entering the hospital to leaving, staff were courteous, friendly and approachable. It is a big hospital and easy to get lost but there was always someone willing to help you. The doctor saw my relative whilst I was there and was friendly, gave thorough explanations whilst undertaking procedures and ensured she was okay before they left. Nothing seemed to much trouble. The ward manager was approachable and knew what was happening in their area.

My relative felt safe and well cared for however she did comment that some staff on nights do swear quite loudly and have loud conversations outside the bays which disrupted her sleep.

Overall a very positive experience - thank you.
