I was referred for radiotherapy palliative only from Epsom. The dept could not have been better , both in informing you of everything and treating you like a human being and behaving in a professional manner. Meanwhile the clinics oversaw your progress and your concerns on a fortnightly basis . You felt as if they cared and showed it. The experience was better than I have ever experienced in any other hospital. The hospital itself was rushed off its feet especially in the outpatients and clinics, and they never ran to time, which was my only grouse. The radiotherapy dept however was always a scene of calm and an air of tranquility, and always ran spot on time, which if you were meant to have a full bladder ,was a godsend!
