Today Thursday 09/10/2015 had to have a blood test so went to the clinic at 08/15 hours took a numbered ticket from machine and sat and waited for clinic to start ,while sitting in the waiting area looking through the small window into the room where sample's are taken a person walk in the back door and chats to nurse has his sample taken walks out still not 09 00 hours yet. Response from Gravesham Community Hospital

Many thanks for your review.

The Senior Phlebotomist has provided the following explanation. The tickets are put out every day at 08:30 hours for members of the public. We provide a service for staff members between 8:30 and 09:00, who have previously booked, as a privilege to them prior to their working day. The client that is being highlighted in your review is someone who had a booked an appointment for a clinical condition, and as they are in a wheelchair, the main reception staff have an arrangement with the phlebotomy staff to let them know that they have arrived.

We hope that this information helps to explain your experience in Phlebotomy last Thursday and we hope your future visits are more positive ones.

Best wishes
