"Very professional care"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

We received a fairly quick triage and professional extraction after my 4 year old daughter decided at 7pm to push a small plastic bead up her right nostril. Yes we waited for a couple of hours, but we were not left not knowing what was happening at all stages. The fact that she was of school age meant that they decided at 11pm to to extract it then rather that bring her back the next day and miss school and put her through the waiting.

Thank you for providing this welcomed feedback. We're glad to hear that your daughter's mishap was dealt with efficiently and with due attention to her age and situation. It is particularly good to learn that you were kept informed while waiting and you felt that your daughter was dealt with so professionally. We hope she is doing well. Your comments will be passed on to the team.
