"Positive experiences"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I go to the Crosshouse hospital quite regularly, as I have a peacemaker and it needs regular checking. I’ve visited the hospital recently, as my peacemaker is getting towards the end of its life and will need changing soon. My appointments are always going really well and everyone is very pleasant to me at all times. I sometimes need to wait for 10 15 minutes, but that seems more than reasonable to me. I just don’t understand it when people complain about how inefficient the NHS is in Scotland, when I’ve only had positive experiences. Thank you!

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Bedouin73,

That is so good to hear, being looked after well makes all the difference and I am sure it can help us heal more quickly too. I will pass this to the teams involved and I am sure they will appreciate this very much.

Best wishes,

Eunice
