"Following my visit last week- Thanks"

Sir/Madam,

I write following being refered to a pre-surgial visit last Monday night for a hernia following a visit to my local doctors, I am an infrequent visitor to the Doctors never mind a hospital ,so was a little shocked on Monday night that the staff/team advised me that I needed to be operated on fairly quickly (no later than the following morning....) ,I was advised to go home after they calmed me down, being advised to take no food or drink after midnight and return at 07.30.

I returned as requested and can advise that the team at DRI efficently dealt with me from the outset with the upmost professionalism at all times, ensuring I was fully briefed throughout the operation to repair my ambilical hernia,which was a success,I am now preparing to return to work on light duties.

In a world where it is common-place to recieved complaints and negative feedback, I felt that I should sit down and write for a few minutes to praise and thank everyone involved during my visit/operation last Tuesday,they were all a credit to their profession and place of work.
