What I liked

The fact that we have a seperate paediatric area in the A&E dept.

What could be improved

Having children filtered directly through to the paed area would have been better and saved my six year old some offensive sights! It was also incredibly annoying to be triaged once in the main A&E and then agin in the PANDA unit. We know why this happens - so the patient journey looks more efficient but, chair hopping doesn't cut it with worried parents and their offspring.

Anything else?

The PANDA unit was clean and staff were great. Good literature to tkae home with follow up.
