"Orthopaedic depth didn't do op correctly."

In spring 2009 I had a fall down stairs, left me unable to walk or stand straight. The consultants prognosis was I had damaged 2 discs 1 had been 2nd time. We spoke about family history of DDD, and discussed Fusion signed the forms got date Jan 2010. Post op appt the consultant was pleased to tell me they had saved time and money because it was a busy winter, unhappy I told them it had not done the job, they farmed me off to physio and the pain clinic. After several years of multiple injections and stimulations it was decided that a neurostimulator would be good. Images of my spine and MDT meeting occurs spinal surgeon summised that I reqired further Stabilisation and Decompression. I was very unhappy as I had been saying it all along. I was encouraged to have this done before stimulator, as post stimulator any work on my spine would req removal of the unit and it will not be able to be replaced. Reluctantly I went back to spinal surgeons. Now I find that criteria for the fusion op have changed and is subject to cost cutting which now means the surgeon will not get on with doing the job that I was supposed to have done 5yrs ago. Very unhappy.
