"foul mouthed staff"

About: Macclesfield District General Hospital

I am horrified by what happened yesterday whilst visiting my terminally ill relative on ward 3. Whilst waiting to wash my hands before going onto the ward I along with other members of the public heard raised voices; the door to their office was open and I lost count of how many times I heard the F word. I believe every person should have the opportunity to air their views but this was not appropriate and no care was taken to make sore this was not over heard. I continued onto the ward to see my relative however the part of the ward they were on backed onto the same office. All I can say is that I now know more about ophthalmology than I care to and if I was given a pound for every time I heard swearing I could probably pay for my relative to looked after in a more suitable environment. .
