About: New Victoria Hospital / X-rays and scans NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde

(as the patient),

I had a doctor's appointment in Rutherglen Health Centre for 10. 50. I was seen at 11. 00. by the doctor. I was then give an open access form to go to the New Victoria to be CX-rayed. I waited ten minutes and was then seen. I was sitting in the car to go home at 12. 25. Taken in account travelling time of some fifteen minutes, the whole thing took about roughly an hour. This service is excellent and I feel that this should be noted. If the balance of negative to positive comments is such that few people record the positive experience of the NHS, then I think it only right that I should take the time to express how wonderful I thought this was. It was the NHS at its best in terms of service and how I was treated by all the personnel involved.

I really appreciate you taking the time to write to us about this service as it is great to see that it really does make a difference to patients and that it is working so well for them. It's also brilliant to hear that the way you were treated by all of the staff was just as positive as the process itself.

We learn just as much from the positive comments as we do from the negative ones we receive, as it is really important that we know when things are working well.
