"Children's A&E"

I've had cause to visit the children's A&E twice this week and both times the service has been really good. We had to return after my son's symptoms returned and again the staff were very thorough in the examinations, explained at each stage what would happen next, what they were checking for, and generally kept both my son and I well informed.

We were in the department for a good number of hours which we didn't mind because it was obvious that they were busy yet they made every effort to keep us informed, we never felt forgotten. We are so lucky to have the service and the staff. In particular I'd like to mention a particular Nurse who co ordinated the department. They were responding to all sorts of requests and still managed a smile, and Doctor whose bed side manner was spot on.
