About: Bmi - The Alexandra Hospital

After outstanding care and service up to, including and after a slipped disc operation two years ago I was very impressed with the level of service provided. I contacted the hospital about a minor operation last week and was duly offered a consultant appointment on the Saturday following the Thursday I called which as excellent.

A more dignified, friendly consultant you could not wish to meet and I was told they would call me on Monday in other words two days’ time which

I was happy with. By Wednesday evening

I had heard nothing after a number of calls to the hospital. I did receive a call after 8.00pm but unfortunately I missed it.

I was fully aware that my case was in way a serious medical health condition and did not like to keep ringing but it all revolves around expectation. If I was told I will contact you in two weeks then that would have been fine but to be told one date and hear nothing until I dealt with a very helpful person on the appointments desk is disappointing for a hospital that prides itself on high standards and communication.
