"Treated brilliantly"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

Being sent to AMU by my GP for heart related issues I was obviously frightened. From the moment I walked in I was treated brilliantly. I was seen by the Registrar who had spoken to my GP almost immediately. she was friendly and comforting when I was scared. All blood tests were done straight away and the ECG didn't take long to line up despite the number of patients there. I was checked out thoroughly and was even in and out of X-Ray in about 15 mins. The blood tests results took time to come back but all results and decisions on my care were discussed with me. Thankfully I was declared healthy and no further treatment was needed but they were fantastic. Thank you all.

Dear Purple-piggies

Thank you very much for your great feedback. I am all too aware that not every patient has such a smooth trip through our unit and I am committed to improving our services so that everyone has a similar positive experience.

Thanks for taking the time to write.

Kindest regards
