"Intensive Care"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

My partner was transferred from another hospital to ICU late at night. He was greeted by the Sister. The team who initially cared for him were extremely competent and quietly assessed and attended to him. During his 13 day stay on the unit he was cared for wonderfully. The 6 C's are embraced to the letter. The competence, empathy and care were second to none. His nurse is an exemplary nurse who gives absolutely 100%. What a wonderful team of Drs Nurses and ancillary staff. Many many thanks to you all.

Dear Wendy,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your lovely comments, at what must have been a very traumatic time for you.

The Trust’s Patient Experience Strategy contains a pledge that the 6 C’s will continue to be a fundamental part of everything we do, and it is so encouraging when patients, their relatives and loved ones, recognise the hard work team members put in to ensure this commitment is met.

I will make sure your feedback is shared with the team members within the ICU, they will be so pleased.

Thank you again.

Sharon Kidd, Patient Experience Manager
