"The compassion shone through"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Endoscopy and day care

(as the patient),

The staff at Forth Valley were brilliant.

I suffer with anxiety and panic attacks but did not want to be "put under". I started gagging and panicing, gasping for air. The team did an excellent job of calming me down, especially my named nurse Hannah. I can honestly say that the compassion shone through and that can make the difference between a good and a bad experience.

Even after it was over Hannah kept asking if I was okay and tried to reassure me. So it's a big well done Dr Heron and team from me, and Thank You! ! !

Dear Glen Grateful

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave feedback about your recent experience. I am so pleased that the staff were able to reassure you through what I can only imagine to have been a very difficult and stressful procedure for you.

I have shared your feedback with the department and the staff that you have mentioned in your posting and they would like to pass on their thanks for such kind words.

It is lovely for the staff to see their hard work and commitment being recognised.

Kindest regards

Pauline Marland
