I cannot praise RBH enough. They reassured me throughout my pregnancy and I had an additional growth scan as they thought my baby could be big. I was booked in for a planned c section but after my waters went at home at 39+6 weeks and being 7cm when we got to hospital I continued for a nvd. I had a difficult labour when my contractions slowed and was put on to the drip. Throughout my labour the midwives were very supportive. I had to go to theatre for forceps as my baby was in an awkward position and wouldn't come out inassisted. All the theatre staff were amazing too. Unfortunately on the post natal ward I had a major PPH where I lost a significant amount of blood. All the staff acted very quickly and I was transferred to HDU. I had to go to theatre that night for an operation to stop my bleeding but I owe my life to all the staff at Bolton hospital. I spent 4 days in hospital, and have just celebrated my daughters 1st birthday. We are loving family life and I cannot thank Bolton enough, I will be eternally grateful! Thank you all xxx
