"Care for the elderly."

About: University Hospital Of North Durham

My father is almost 89 and until this year has had amazingly good health, in fact he takes no medication at all. However, he has had two bouts of illness recently which have necessitated calling for an ambulance and being admitted. We have been so impressed with the way he has been treated. The staff on the Acute Medical Admissions Ward where he was last week and Ward 5 where he spent nearly a week in May have been wonderful. I cannot praise them enough for their caring attitude and the way they dealt with my father. They even rang him up on the weekend following his discharge to make sure he was alright. Well done and thank you.
