"dacre ward 15/09/15 - 16/09/15"

About: Lister Hospital

I had my baby on the 15/09/15. I went in to have an induction. I came across a midwife with a very friendly face, they also came out to me when i was pregnant with my first and induced me with my second! And thankfully this time round i had them again. They made me feel so much at ease. They were also with a student midwife who again was a lovely person! Both these midwives had finished there shifts before i went into labour. I was then being looked after by another lovely midwife who had been informed by the other midwife that my labours are spontanious. Unfortunately for them i laboured so quick they didnt have time to prepare for a delivery on dacre ward. But the midwife kept calm and sailed me through and brought my lil lady into this world safely! The original midwife and their trainee both visited me when they came back on shift in the morning and carried on throughout the day. I couldnt fault these three members of staff they were amazing, confident and dealt with everything professionally. I want to thank these midwives from the bottom of my heart..

truly have an amazing team. Thank you x

Although we know that we have a fantastic midwifery team, it's always great to hear that when new mums get in touch to praise the care and support they received.

We know that the team will really appreciate getting to read your feedback, which has just been sent over to them.

Thanks again for getting in touch and may we wish you and you're now slightly bigger family every happiness for the future.
