I am recovering from a hospital stay for psychosis. I have Schizoaffective Disorder. I recently returned to The Involvement Centre at Duncan Macmillan House as a volunteer and joined The Recovery College where I am a student. I love The Involvement Centre and Recovery College. I first joined The Involvement Centre years ago during my first hospital admission, but have had a break due to being in hospital and attending therapy. When I returned it was as if I had never been away from the centre and all the staff and volunteers have been very friendly and welcoming. I am currently looking into applying for Peer Support Worker training. I am so pleased to be back on my feet and have thrown myself into study and voluntary work whole heartedly. Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me back to Duncan Macmillan House. x
