On Thursday 17/9/2015 I came into the Interventional Radiology Day Unit for a stent removal and x-ray.
The doctor is first-rate, excellent bedside manner putting me at ease ahead of the procedure as the first ERCP I had was uncomfortable for me, this time they all went out of their way to make sure I was completely comfortable injecting humour into the day made a big difference, what an amazing doctor.
I would like to say that the doctor and their assistant along with another member of staff are all first rate they are a lovely team, and the nurses who looked after me both before and after my procedure on the ward were also excellent.
They are all a credit to the Royal Preston Hospital, and really look after you as a person and not just a number.
I would have no hesitation recommending this team and hospital in the future.
