"Parking All day and fixed tariff"

About: Goole & District Hospital (Acute)

On taking a neighbour to Goole hospital with his blue card it states that parking cost £2 all day. After struggling to get him to his ward we returned home to await his phone call to collect him later that day. On phoning when he was ready to be collected he told us we had to pay another £2 to park to collect him. What is all day at Goole? and what is fixed tarriff?

Hello, apologies for the delay in responding - the fixed tarriff of £2 for blue badge holders entitles the badge holder to park for a period of up to 24 hours, but not to leave and return again within that period.

An alternative approach in that situation would be to use the 10-minute pick up and drop off point instead. Kind regards, Sarah Mainprize
