What I liked
It has always been my 'family' hospital and 1st choice.I have always defended adverse comments about it.The nurses are great on the whole and I would not choose to be treated elsewhere.
What could be improved
I have to accompany my husband on regular appointments to see differant consultants in various departments...Yet they all have a very common theme...We are rarely seen before a 2 hour wait,and thats not a good exchange on our part as all the consultants see us is for 7 minutes or less.One for 2 minutes.My husband is gradually canceling his appointments one by one due to the long wait leaving his illnesses untreated and its very worrying for me.
Anything else?
Please dont over book clinics...Fair enough if we have to wait up to an hour but anymore than that is inconsiderate and indignant and just plain rude.
