Courteous and efficient staff.

What could be improved

Coincidentally,I have the same complaint as the last respondent:having to wait 2 hours for a cystoscopy in Day Services (my mother aged 88).The appointment letter states that you may be in the hospital several hours;it does not say that most of this will be waiting.It seems that everybody is given the same appointment time.Surely you could at least put people in alphabetical order and make a reasonable estimate of the time to be seen? I myself have a similar appointment at 7-30 a.m.I am fairly sure that the staff do not start work so early.

Anything else?

The quadrangle entrance has no seats for anybody awaiting transport,just wooden screens which serve no purpose.Those who do not have difficulty standing can wait outside but must contend with the smokers-can't you find them a spare patio or room instead of pretending it is banned?
