What I liked
As I live in Wigan I wasn't very happy to have to go to North Manchester, but I had to due to my health complaint (the rather uncommon Acetabular Retroversion) but I was very pleased by the way some of the staff treated me. The hospital is nice and clean, and the nice staff were lovley and understanding about my problem. Physiotherapy staff are excellent.
What could be improved
The doctor I saw in outpatients. They were rude and not helpful. When telling me about the serious risks with the operation I was facing, they were very abrupt and yelled at my mother saying to her "would you like your 16year old daughter to die?" I felt very vunerable and not confident in the doctors care. The parking is also awful. I wasn't trusted in the CT scan deparment and told I "wasnt aware what it takes to get pregnant" eventually the radiologist believed me.
Anything else?
Overall I have been fairly pleased with the care I have recieved apart from the two people I have had a run in with. Considering I have to come all the way from Wigan, it's not a bad place for care at all.
