I was put on the waiting list marked as URGENT. After 18 WEEKS I had heard nothing. To cut a long story short, I got seen after 27 WEEKS, but needed 5 visits to RSCH. A&E during that wait.
After a complaint, FOI told me only 70% got seen in the 18 WEEKS. ( November 2014) and 48 had to wait the 27 WEEKS, like myself.
Private hospital was refused due to "risk".
I'm now 18 WEEKS on my next visit maked as PRIORITY.
Just had the one visit to RSCH. A&E which resulted in me being taken by ambulance to PRHH.
Then a follow up appointment which has me on URGENT/PRIORITY.
No pre-op date yet, but haven't reached the 27 WEEKS stage yet.
