Was seen by our own doctor the previous evening regarding an ankle injury, our own doctor filled in the relevant X-ray documents and a covering letter for us to get an X-ray the following morning, on arriving in casualty we were promptly seen by a nurse but then had to wait for another doctor to see the ankle and counter sign the X-ray document, surely this process could be improved. It was quite clear that an X-ray was needed, had we just been sent straight through we would have saved a room, a nurses time, the doctors time and our time.
Also felt that the nurses were more interested in getting their break and chatting.
