I was recently discharged from midwife Gayle at Rutherglen Maternity Care Centre after having my second son. I had a difficult delivery in my previous pregnancy and had a lot of anxiety about the same thing happening again this time. Gayle was really understanding of my fears and helped me through my worries. Also, in my final weeks of pregnancy, I had a not-so-great experience at maternity assessment, I was quite distressed and knew I could count on Gayle to help, which she did and I got an ultrasound and medical review the same day.
Gayle and all the other staff I met at the centre were first class, friendly, caring and took you seriously if you ever had any worries. Everything a midwife should be! Also, if I ever needed to speak to Gayle on the phone about anything she was always there, or would promptly phone me back which was excellent.
