To whom it may concern:
For the second time within six month we ( my daughter Nike and today me) were for no obvious reasons deleted/ removed from the data system of the Mayflower Hospital in Harwich and had to re- register.
My daughter Nike suffers from asthma and needs a constant repeat prescription for her inhalers. On the very first occasion I was told that somebody accidentally pressed a wrong button and deleted her file. I registered her again and things are going quite fine so far.
Last Thursday I tried to get hold of my GP again because of my strained back but never received a call. Today I had to find out that I was also deleted from the system.
Reception staff could not explain why. So I had to limp my way up to Mayflower Hospital to find out how to get help and advice. Allegedly they send a letter to some address which was returned. I am living at my address since 04/12/2011 when my daughters and I moved over from Germany. I am working as a full time care worker for almost two years, I am on the electoral roll, paying tax and contribute to the NHS.
I would really like to know how this is possible? The address of my daughters and me has never changed since 4/12/2011. Since this has happened twice to us throughout the last six month I am likely to ask myself whether this "incidents" are due to us being foreigners.
Apart from this I have to say that any treatment we so far received at Mayflower Hospital was fair.
Thank you very much for reading. Kind regards, Petra
