I recently had my father admitted as an emergency and cannot praise highly enough the speed and efficiency with which he was dealt with. Within an hour he was having X rays, ecgs bloods a scan, had IV antibiotics and samples taken all in a quick and efficient manner. The doctor gave us feedback and updates and he was quickly moved to a ward. He had a single room with en suite wet room, TV and a view ! - amazing and very reassuring. We only had to wait an hour or so from then t speak to a Consultant. Later that day he was further assessed by physio ,. The speed of the treatment and delivery of service meant he was sufficiently stable to be relocated to a hospital for re-hab nearer home

I cannot praise the staff highly enough
