"BABES Breastfeeding Group"

About: Sherwood West Children's Centre

(as a parent/guardian),

Since Michelle has left the centre, the new lead wants to introduce topics to be spoken about within the group each week. I don't think this is a very good idea at all as it will make the group too structured and it could potentially put off new mums struggling to breastfeed.

I think it'll be much better to keep it as the informal friendly group we have currently. I know some of the other mums also share my views.

I'm not frightened of change, but this group has worked well for many years the way it is and has always had a lot of attendees, so if it's working why change it? !

thank you for your comments in relation to how you feel the group should be run.

one of the aims of our service is to look at sessions that we provide on a regular basis to make sure they are meeting the needs of the community.

I feel it would be a good idea for myself as co-ordinator to come along to the group this afternoon to meet with you all to talk about your views on future running of the group.

we take the thoughts and views of you all very seriously and am pleased that you took the time to share you comments.
