About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

Went into cramlington's new hospital A&E department, the building looks amazing and the extremely helpful staff realised very quickly the issue and immediately put me in for surgery first thing the next day.

The staff are really the best part about this hospital and they were truly amazing and so so kind and helpful! Unfortunately I didn't get any names but the nurses I saw in A&E, doctors in the surgical assessment ward, surgical recovery team, and staff walking past when we were lost (which was often) were all extremely polite and happy to help!

There was very little waiting time as well which was a large bonus.

I am so sorry that you've had any reason at all to go to hospital for emergency surgery, but delighted that we have been able to provide you with the high quality service you deserve.

We are proud of our new hospital - the design of the building is a result of many years of planning with heavy involvement from our clinical teams who wanted to make sure that we created the right environment of care for patients. I'm glad you like it.

Like you, I think it's the people within the building that make any hospital special - I felt proud when I read your descriptions of our staff. Thanks so much for taking the time to appreciate what they do every day - it really does mean everything to them to get feedback of this nature.
